Our setting provides six childcare rooms, Babies, Toddlers, Littles, Pre-School, After School and a Soft Play Room. CCTV is provided in each of these rooms to ensure safety of your children and our staff.  Access to the Centre is through an intercom and no person is allowed into the setting who is not known to the staff. Each room is designed to be age relevant. Our unique indoor Soft Play/Sensory Room has been designed with soft play, ball pool, sensory toys and black out blinds to meet a range of safe, fun and interactive play activities.  Our setting is designed to meet disability regulations and all are welcome.

 

Here at Fit 'N' Fun Kids we have our own Physical Development Programme incorporating music and movement, interactive stories and parachute play.

 

We have two outside play areas and a Sensory/Play Garden.   Our Sensory Garden has recently been re-landscaped in order to meet the new EYFS. Our garden allows free flow of play and has addition of sand and mud play areas and an area for growing vegetables.  We also have a larger outside play area to the front of the building for pre-school and out of school care children where a range of games and sports activities can be enjoyed.

 

We are fortunate to be close to the water and work with Elemental UK in accessing safe water play, raft building, canoeing, kayaking, coast steering and more... we also work with BF Adventure to add exciting experiences for our children.

 

To support our Forrestry School element we have adapted our outside play areas to meet many of the safe activities and also often visit the woods adjacent to our setting for further exploration. 

 

We further take all our children on many trips around Cornwall.. choices of which often is made by the children.
