Your child will be one of the 12-16 children cared for within this room. Now your child has developed that bit further he/she will be offered free play along side pre-arranged activities to include all areas of the curriculum, also twice daily Fit 'n' Fun sessions to help promote physical development.

 

Monthly planning is devised by the room supervisor. This will cover the six areas of learning as followed in the Early Years Foundation Stage to prepare them for Nursery Education. The activities are adapted to meet the younger needs of the children and particular attention is paid to enhancing your child’s social skills. 

A quiet time is offered after lunch to enable your child to rest and recharge their batteries in readiness for the afternoon session. Activities will include free play, art, music, cooking, pre-reading, writing and number skills. Children's artwork will be displayed within the nursery.

 

Again we will fully support you in all areas of potty training and can offer advice and support in this area. If still required your child will be offered a nap.

• Change of clothes (inc underwear)
• Sheet and blanket
• Tupperware box for storing of dummies
• Nappies or trainer pants
• Any medication, accompanied by a permission to administer form with instructions
• Sun cream
• Nappy Cream
• Wet Wipes
